The Xiaomi Redmi Pad is currently available in three versions: SE, Pro, and regular. However, none of them support 5G technology. That will soon change, as CEO Lei Jun revealed that the Redmi Pad Pro 5G variant is currently being developed and has now also surfaced on TENAA.
The model number of the slate is 24074RPD2C, where the "C" stands for China. There are now two more variants identified as 24074RPD2G (Global) and 24074RPD2I (India).
With the exception of connectivity, the 5G version is anticipated to have the same specifications as the current Wi-Fi only model. This includes a 12.1" 120Hz IPS LCD, a 10,000mAh battery with 33W charging, and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is shown in a picture provided by TENAA, although not much can be seen. Furthermore, since the specs only state that the battery is 4,900 mAh (it's possible that this is one cell of a dual-cell battery), they might need to be updated.
According to Lei Jun, the 5G model will support Network Sync, just like its Wi-Fi sibling. Network Sync allows you to connect your tablet to your phone's hotspot with just one tap, but it is obviously much more helpful for tablets without built-in 5G modems.

Xiaomi typically chooses model numbers that match the release date; for example, the Xiaomi 14 was released in December of 2023 and has the model number 23127PN0CC (hence 23.12...). The Redmi Pad Pro 5G's model number, 2407..., points to a July release.

The Earbuds X7 and Earbuds A are the newest models in Honor's TWS earbud lineup. Both of the new buds choose a half-in-ear form over the silicone tips found on the majority of their rivals. They pair via Bluetooth 5.3 and have 10mm dynamic drivers as well. The charging case on the X7 is marginally wider and taller than the other pair, but other than that, there don't appear to be any colour differences between the two.

A HiFi 5 digital signal processor (DSP) and Golden Ear certification for detailed sound output are additional features of the Earbuds X7 and A. According to Honour, the new earbuds have a 9-hour playback time on their own and an additional 31 hours of battery life when used with their charging cases. IP54 ratings protect both from dust and water.

Honour Earbuds A retail for CNY 199 ($27) and are available in blue and white. The Honour Earbuds X7 retail for CNY 299 ($42) and are available in green and white. In China, open sales begin on May 31.

Honour Earbuds A and X7 have been revealed.

Since Oppo debuted the Reno11 series of smartphones in November of last year, we anticipate seeing their replacements before the start of H2 2024. Oppo has not yet released information about the Reno12 lineup, but Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu (whose name is translated from Chinese) suggested camera upgrades.

The Oppo Reno12 series, according to the tipster, will have a newly modified Sony sensor, improving the mid-range image quality of the lineup. Custom Sony sensor expected for Oppo Reno12 series

Recently, there have been a ton of leaks regarding the Google Pixel 8a, and today is no exception. Yet again, the Pixel 8a smartphone's design and colour details were leaked from tipster Arsène Lupin's X (formerly Twitter) post. This one appears to be from a Moroccan mobile phone vendor in Casablanca who has apparently already received stock of the Pixel 8a.

A brief hands-on test follows, revealing the frequently leaked phone and verifying that its design cues are, as the name suggests, derived from the Pixel 8.

Like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, the Google Pixel 8a is anticipated to be powered by the Tensor G3 chipset. A 6.1-inch FHD+ 90 Hz OLED touchscreen, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of base storage, a 64 MP primary camera, a 13 MP ultrawide, and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 27W wired charging are also rumoured to be included.

Huawei plans a global rollout of HarmonyOS. 

Without a doubt, Motorola is preparing to release the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra in the near future. The former was recently made public by its TENAA certification in China, and today we're talking about the Ultra, which has also been certified in China, albeit in the 3C category.

This has made it known that the Razr 50 Ultra will support 68W wired charging, a significant improvement over the 30W of its predecessor.
The Razr 50 Ultra is expected to have a 6.9-inch folding display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a 4" P-OLED cover display, two 50 MP cameras, a 32 MP selfie snapper, and a 4,000 mAh battery (up 200 mAh from the Razr 40 Ultra). These specifications have not been revealed by this certification.

Another certification for the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra confirms that it supports 68W of charging.

With the exception of Samsung, the majority of Android OEMs have embraced the seamless updates feature that Google first introduced back in 2016. After eight years of working on the feature, Samsung has finally added seamless updates to its Android smartphones. The Galaxy A55 is the first Samsung smartphone to have this feature. Samsung had previously stated that it was working on implementing this feature on its smartphones.

With firmware version A556EXXS1AXC1, the Samsung Galaxy A55 recently received the March 2024 Android security patch in India, bringing with it the seamless updates feature. As a result, after downloading an update, users will see the messages "Downloading and installing" and "Verification."

Because of the seamless updates feature, you can use partition A of your phone while the update is installed on partition B, and then restart it once the installation is finished. This eliminates the need for you to wait several minutes for the installation process to finish before using your phone. Instead, it keeps the device functional during the installation and is only unusable while it is restarting, which on the Galaxy A55 could take up to 90 seconds.

The next Samsung smartphone to receive seamless updates is unknown, but it's unlikely that older models will be able to use it because the device must be set up for this feature before it is shipped from the factory.

We already knew that the Vivo X100s would be released soon; as of right now, May seems likely.

Colour leaks for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6


Just last week, Samsung began shipping the Galaxy S24 flagship phones, but early users noticed a problem with the screen mode. Many reports claim that the screen is not as colourful in Vivid Mode as it should be, and the company acknowledged this problem.


According to tipster Ice Universe, Samsung is developing a method that will improve vividness and even provide more precise control over it. The upcoming software update should include this three-step option.


The Galaxy S24 panel is more vivid than the Natural option when it comes to default saturation, but it's still nowhere near as good as what Samsung offered on earlier phones.


The S24 display will get closer to the vibrant S23 colours by sliding the toggle to the middle, or the second step, while the third option is said to go even farther.

The toggle appears to be in the Display Settings' Advanced Settings for the Vivid Screen mode. It will be located beneath the White Balance settings, where the user can adjust the display's RGB levels by hand.

It's evident that the vivid mode problems aren't deterring many buyers because Samsung raised its goal for Galaxy S24 series shipments. For Q1 2024, the target was raised from 12 million to 13 million units. Of the three, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is the most sought-after; according to Samsung, 65% of pre-orders have been placed for the large phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, titanium frame, and new telephoto camera.
